Korg or Yamaha Keyboards?

A while back, I was out shopping to buy a friend a birthday present. As she was into music and singing, I decided to get her a keyboard. I’m not into music for the matter, and I didn’t have a clue which keyboard to get her. After a while comparing different models, I decided to get her a Yamaha.

One year later, she’s making full use of it, and the Yamaha has proven to be durable while providing warm melodious music.
Going beyond technical comparisons of memory space, number of effects, I guess the reason I got the Yamaha was due to the interface design. Speaking to the very enthusiastic sales assistant, he did explained to me why the Yamaha would be the better choice, due to it’s more ergonomic interface buttons as well as a higher resolution LCD screen.

Anyway, the two models that I came down to comparing was the

Yamaha PSR-EW410 76-Key Portable Keyboard  (check out on Amazon, it’s a terrific model from Yamaha)

and the

Korg EK-50 61-Key Arranger (check out on Amazon, it’s another terrific model from Korg)

I guess at the end of the day, your interest and enthusiasm will make you a better musician than any difference that the two top brands would make.

Happy jamming!.
